Typical Day Template

What the day and the week actually look like, class by class, on one page for parents.

You're trying this out with a sample school. Everything works. The PDF you save just has SAMPLE printed across it, and drafts need an account.

Add your crest and details: you only ever do this once

With an account these are saved for good, so every notice, letter, calendar and policy comes out looking like your school without you touching them again. Here they last until you close the page.

With the full product you also set your school's own colours at this stage, with a simple guide to help you pick them, and every page is then built in those colours.

Leave anything blank and the sample school's details are used instead.

For you, not for the printed page: the official framework

Department of Education Circular 0011/95 sets the standard primary school day at 5 hours 40 minutes, which includes at least 30 minutes of break time plus two further breaks of 5 minutes. Junior and Senior Infants may be given a shortened day. Each school sets its own timetable within that framework, so the times you enter below are simply your own.

Just jot down roughly what you want to say, a line or two of notes is plenty. Then tap Rewrite with AI and it will do the rest.

Always read it over before you send.

Short standing reminders, such as nut free lunches or where a class lines up. Leave it empty and the box is left off the page.

A year level can hold more than one class. Add a letter, a number or a class name, such as A, 2 or Room 4, when two teachers run parallel classes.
